Committee Leadership Boot Camp:  First ever Chapter Committee Leadership Boot Camp held on Friday, May 3, 2024, 10AM, at the Renaissance Senior Center before the Chapter meeting (In-Person Event) was attended by 23 Chapter members. Together we shared impactful insights, learned about the Chapter, and engaged in collaborative excellence.  We plan to connect again at the next Committee Boot Camp in 2025!

Family Day:  Family Day was a success! Approximately 40 people (Chapter members and their families) celebrated time together on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Fun Spot American Theme Park, Kissimmee, FL! It was a day of rides, walking, relaxing, chatting, and eating!  Can’t wait for next year’s adventure!

Mentoring Committee: If you are interested in being a mentor or a mentee, please contact Chair Fatima Calkins at Greater Orlando Aviation Authority at FCalkins@goaa.org and 407-825-2044 (office phone).  Do you have questions or answers on procurement or Chapter matters? This is great opportunity to build a relationship with another member!  We are looking for both mentors and mentees.

Get Engaged. Get Connected: I want to encourage members to evaluate your talents and strengths and identify if there are any committees or task forces opportunities that you would like to be engaged.  Committee chair and member positions are available.  We benefit from having active engagements.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or other board members with any questions or suggestions. The list is on our website under committees or email me for a copy.  If you would like to partner with someone in a position that is filled, we can do that too!

Thank you for all you do Chapter Members!
