We are gearing up for FORUM, the next chapter meeting and workshop, a Pirates Dinner Adventure, our Reverse Trade Show, and more FREE Pro-D Opportunities.
NIGP FORUM (In-Person): Are you going? Let VP Chris Coghill know, vicepresident@cfcnigp.org. We invite you all (and your partners) to sit with the Chapter at the awards ceremony and take a group photo. Our tables will have our Chapter name on them. Our Chapter is a finalist for Outstanding Awards! There may be an opportunity for us to meet up, sit together during plenary sessions, and share ideas. Come see us on Sunday, August 25th at the Procurement Excellence Showcase in the Expo Hall!
Pirates Dinner Adventure, 2024 Adult Special Event: Join us at Pirates Dinner Adventure, Orlando, FL on Saturday, October 5, 2024, 4:30 PM. The event is available for 1- or 2-person parties. $34 per person. Registration ends on September 3rd, 2024. Log in to your account at www.cfcnigp.org.
Chapter Membership Meeting and Workshop: Register for the Friday, September 27, 2024, Chapter Membership Meeting and Workshop. US House of Representative member Ric Keller will provide us with information on two important leadership topics: Leadership Communications and Leading with Civility. Then Carrie Mathes, Orange County Government Procurement Division Manager II, will enlighten us on how we can Expand our Sphere of Influence. The cost for this event for chapter members and non-members is $20.00. Hot lunches will be provided to all that attend in-person. Attendees will be granted 3.5 hours of continuing education credits for NIGP or UPPCC certification/re-certification.

- Leadership Summit Edge or Impact, Saturday to Tuesday, February 22-25, 2025, Registration and Airfare Only. Does not include hotel.
Reverse Trade Show: Reverse Trade Show is Friday, November 8, 2024, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Doors open at 7:30 AM (or earlier) for set up.

- Earn more scholarship points for early registration.

Get Engaged. Get Connected: I want to encourage members to evaluate your talents and strengths and identify if there are any committees or task forces opportunities that you would like to be engaged. Committee chair and member positions are available. We benefit from having active engagements. Please do not hesitate to contact me or other board members with any questions or suggestions.
